Reese and I were playing puppy last night. You know the game right? What, you've never had to act like a puppy while being fed, petted (is that a word?) and led around the house on your knees by a little one before?
Well, that's what we do more often than I care to admit (it ain't easy bein' a dog).
So, last night she asked if baby could have a ride on puppy's back. I wagged my tail indicating how happy it would make me to give baby a ride. I hunched down as close to the ground as possible and waited for baby to get on.
Almost immediately I had 2 riders on my back. I said, "hey, I thought I was giving a ride to baby" and Reese said, "puppies don't talk," (which is true), so I stopped. She asked if it would be ok if she rode too, so again, I wagged my tail happily.
They both got situated and I began "walking" around the room. Then Reese says,
"hey, pretend I'm riding an elephant" - nothing does more to bruise a girl's ego than to go from being a dog to being an elephant!!!
